I always read about how people would visualise their business as being successful and it would be successful. I honestly thought it was hogwash and that there was no way just thinking about your business being successful would make it successful.
I’d read a lot of personal development books which all said you should visualise yourself achieving your goals.
Like most people, I’d never really tried it myself thinking it was rubbish and some mumbo-jumbo.
I can remember the first day I tried this for myself.
I’d been in business about four years and had managed to make a spectacular loss every year and was in a position where I either made it or declared myself bankrupt. I read another book telling me about visualisation and that I had to visualise myself being successful and my business earning money.
At this stage I had nothing to lose and would have run around a tree waving a wet fish in the air if I thought it was going to make me successful, so I sat down and visualised.
I focused my mind on my business making sales, of people coming to my websites and clients flooding through the door with money for me.
I must admit, it did make me feel a bit uncomfortable. There was a part of me that doubted it, but I kept going for ten or fifteen minutes.
Within the next 24 hours my business made more money that it had made in the last 2 months!
I couldn’t believe it! I had made hundreds of dollars in 24 hours doing very little different, except for visualising my business making money.
Naturally, I was a convert and have been telling everyone about it ever since … and if you are reading this then I urge you to GIVE IT A GO! You literally have nothing to lose except ten or fifteen minutes of your time, and you have everything to gain!
